Merry Meet and Welcome

Oh don't the flowers smell so lovely this time of day? Come in come in please. Let me wash my hands and we will have some tea. There is nothing like working with Mother Earth, it brings me such peace of mind and spirit. How about a nice cup of chamomile tea? It is very good for what ails you, and such a soothing fragrance, just seems to bring peace inside you. Oh yes that is good, would you like a cookie to go with your tea? Well let's get comfy and get to know each other over our tea and cakes and I guess I will start.

Ok a little about me, I'm 44 and married to a wonderful man, who is my soul mate. We have two wonderful sons, Wayne who is 23 and Josh who is 22. A wonderful grandson named Corbin Micheal who will be two in January. and I have a another one on the way. This time I'm hoping for a little girl. Corbin belongs to my oldest son, and my youngest son well he is the new daddy coming this April. We found out it is going to be a boy!!! I have three dogs, one is a Great Dane named Moose, and a miniature Dashhound named Princess Red Bean ( my husband has an off the wall sense of humor rofl), and Sierra a year old black great dane. I also have five cats, a black cat named Puck, Mama Cat, Chance who is from Mama's first litter. He is black and white and so bad lol. I have Oreo who is three months old and is from Mama's second litter and Merlyn who was a rescue when he was three weeks old and he is a blue point simese and manx mixed and let me tell you he is so bad lol. He is now three months old and a very healthy and happy kitty.

I love to garden, sew, cook, and do all kinds of crafts. I make my own candles, scented oils, crochet, make renaissance clothing, capes, cloaks, and ritual wear. I will be putting some pictures in here of my clothing that I make and I do take orders.
I have been a Kitchen Witch for many years now, and I have found much joy in my chosen path. What is a Kichen Witch you ask? Well the term "Kitchen Witch" seems to bring up many different ideas to others, but the most common idea is that of a Witch who practices her art mainly thru cooking and common household skills. Another image is that of one who uses common everyday items in her art. Which both of these are true of a Kitchen Witch, that is not all we are or do. Being a Kitchen Kitchen goes beyond that, it is finding the spiritual and magickal in everyday life. Mama Rose, defines Kitchen Witchery in the following way: My spirituality and my priestesshood and my magick are based around the concept that my home is my temple, all in it are consecrated and holy, and each action that I do is a portion of the ritual of my life."
A Kitchen Witch makes the ordnary, extraordnary, the mundane magickal and by doing so, acnowledges the presence of the Goddess in all that she does.
